Courses & Learning

What certifications do your courses cover?

We cover all major AWS certifications: Cloud Practitioner (Foundational), Solutions Architect Associate, Developer Associate, SysOps Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Professional, and select Specialty certifications (Security, Advanced Networking, Data Analytics).

How long does it take to complete a course?

It varies by certification level. Foundational courses take 20-30 hours, Associate level 35-45 hours, and Professional 60+ hours. Most students complete in 4-8 weeks studying part-time (5-10 hours/week).

Do I need prior AWS experience?

For Cloud Practitioner (Foundational): no prior experience needed. For Associate certifications: 6-12 months of AWS usage recommended. For Professional: 2+ years of hands-on experience and an Associate certification.

Are practice exams included?

Yes, Pro tier includes practice exams with questions similar to the actual AWS certification exams. Each course has multiple practice quizzes and a full-length mock exam.

Can I download course materials?

Yes! Pro members can download PDF guides, cheat sheets, and code templates. Videos are streamable but not downloadable due to licensing.

Do I need my own AWS account for labs?

Free tier: yes, you'll need your own AWS account for select labs. Pro tier: no, we provide pre-configured sandbox AWS accounts for all labs at no additional cost.

Will labs cost me money in AWS charges?

Pro tier labs run in OneAWS-managed accounts (no AWS charges to you). Free tier labs with your own account typically cost $1-5 per lab, with cleanup scripts to minimize charges.

How long do labs take?

Labs range from 30 minutes (beginner) to 120 minutes (advanced). Each lab shows estimated time, and you can pause/resume anytime with Pro tier.

What if I get stuck during a lab?

Each lab includes step-by-step instructions, troubleshooting tips, and validation checkpoints. Pro members can ask questions in the community forum or live Q&A sessions.

Are labs updated when AWS releases new features?

Yes! We regularly update labs to reflect AWS best practices and new service features. Pro members get automatic access to all updates.

What's included in a Well-Architected Review?

A comprehensive assessment of your AWS environment across all six pillars (Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance, Cost, Sustainability), scored findings, prioritized recommendations, and a 30/60/90 day action plan.

How long does an enterprise engagement take?

A WAF review takes 2-3 weeks. Full modernization projects (discovery → roadmap → pilot) typically take 8-12 weeks, depending on scope and complexity.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, we sign NDAs and work under your security and compliance requirements. We have experience with SOC 2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and FedRAMP environments.

Can you work with our existing AWS partner?

Absolutely. We often collaborate with AWS Professional Services, SIs, and MSPs. We focus on architecture, strategy, and enablement — not competing with ongoing support relationships.

What's the typical ROI?

Can I switch between Free and Pro tiers?

Yes! Upgrade anytime for immediate Pro access. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle. No penalties for changing plans.

Do you offer annual billing?

Yes, save 20% with annual billing. Annual Pro is $470/year (vs $588 monthly). Contact us for Enterprise annual contracts.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover) for Pro tier. Enterprise engagements can be invoiced with Net-30 terms and accept ACH/wire transfers.

Is there a refund policy?

Pro tier has a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Free tier is always free. Enterprise engagements are custom — we discuss terms during discovery.

Do you offer discounts for students or nonprofits?

Yes! Students with valid .edu email get 40% off Pro tier. Registered nonprofits get 30% off. Contact us with verification documentation.

Security & Privacy

How do you handle my personal data?

We follow GDPR and CCPA requirements. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell personal information. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Where is my data stored?

Course progress and user data is stored in AWS us-east-1 with backups in us-west-2. All data is encrypted with AES-256 and transferred over TLS 1.3+.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes, anytime. Go to Account Settings → Delete Account. We'll remove all personal data within 30 days, keeping only anonymized analytics as required by law.

Do you have a bug bounty program?

We welcome responsible disclosure. Email security@oneaws.com with any security concerns. We acknowledge reports within 48 hours and provide updates throughout investigation.

What support channels are available?

Free tier: community forum. Pro tier: community forum + instructor support + live Q&A sessions (2/month). Enterprise: dedicated Slack channel + priority support.

What are your support hours?

Community forum: 24/7 peer support. Instructor support: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm EST, 24-48h response time. Enterprise priority support: 24h response for P1 issues.

Can I schedule a 1-on-1 with an instructor?

Pro tier includes live Q&A group sessions. For 1-on-1 coaching, we offer add-on packages: $150/hour for technical guidance or architecture review.

Do you offer corporate training?
